Doris absolutely loved being a Strasburg Tiger. Most kids can remember Doris from her days of working in the Strasburg High School cafeteria, something she did for more than 16 years. She also enjoyed traveling with Pete throughout the United States, camping, fishing in Canada, crocheting afghan blankets for her family, working outside in her yard, and taking care of her garden and roses. Doris was a long-time member of the Strasburg United Methodist Church.

A service celebrating Doris’ life will be held on Saturday, January 8th starting at 1:30 pm in the Strasburg United Methodist Church with Rev. Lu Ann Youngman officiating. Interment will be in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg. The family will be greeting friends at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
