Danny Ray Green, age 59, born on September 19, 1965, in Dover, Ohio, passed away at home on August 8, 2025, following a brief battle with cancer. He was a beloved member of the community and is remembered for his vibrant spirit and passion for life. After a long journey filled with challenges, he has now found the peace that he deserved.
Danny graduated from Dover High School in 1982, where he made a significant mark as a dedicated athlete, particularly in wrestling. His determination and hard work culminated in an outstanding achievement when he won the State Championship during his high school years.
Following high school, Danny pursued further education at Sinclair Community College and the Pittsburgh Art Institute, reflecting his commitment to personal growth and artistic expression. His time at these institutions enriched his life, helping to shape the free spirit for which he was known.
He leaves behind his father, Gary Green of Dover; his mother, Linda Green of Sugarcreek; his brothers, Chad Green of Dover, and James Green of Wooster; his uncles, Terry Green of Dover, Larry (Michelle) Green of Canton; his aunt, Vicky (Dick) Watt of Canton; along with many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Nettie Shepherd, and Harry and Hilda Green.
