D. Jane Murray

D. Jane Murray, 82, of Dover, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002, in Hennis Care Centre, Dover, following a brief illness.

Born Nov. 2, 1920, in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Bert T. and Bessie King Garner. Jane was a graduate of New Philadelphia High School, and was a loving wife mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Winfield United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn O. Murray, whom she married Aug. 17, 1946; two sons, William G. (P.J.) Murray of Houston, TX, and Michael L. (Etta) Murray of Dundee; five grandchildren, Jennifer and Allison Murray, and Ted, Jeff and Donald Crites; two sisters, Mary Kinser and Clelia Huff, both of New Philadelphia; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ted Crites.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002, at 10 a.m., in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover, with Rev. Lu Ann Youngman officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
