Cynthia K. "Cindy" Duvall

Cynthia K. “Cindy” Duvall, age 61, of Dover, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023, in Dover’s Park Village Health Care Center.

Born January 12, 1962, in Dover, she was a daughter of Shirley Martin Sexton of New Philadelphia and the late David Sexton. Cindy graduated from Dover High School in 1980, and was employed by Horizons of Dover as a home health aide. She married Richard Duvall on June 8, 2011, and the couple shared ten years together prior to Richard’s passing on January 2, 2022. Cindy led a quiet life; she enjoyed being with her loved ones and working on different craft projects.

In addition to her mother, Cindy is survived by her daughter, Ashley Dawson of New Philadelphia; her fiancé William “Cookie” Cozart of Dover; her sisters, Kathy (Denny) Schweitzer of Dover, and Barb (Mark ) Sickinger of New Philadelphia; her brothers, Jim (Susie) Sexton of Dennison, and Dave Sexton of Pennsylvania; and her nieces and nephews.

Cremation is in the care of the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover. There will be no visitation or ceremony.
