Condita M. "Connie" Stephens

Condita M. “Connie” Stephens, 76, of Dover passed away at the Community Hospice Tuman House in New Philadelphia.

Born in Dover on August 19, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Russell Clarence and Lucille (Gualtieri) Baad. She was also preceded in death by her uncle, Edward Gualtieri.

Connie graduated from St. Joseph High School with the class of 1966. She retired from K-Mart and also was a driver’s education instructor for many years. She enjoyed crafting, cake decorating, and had a love for all animals. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover.

She leaves behind her three daughters; Shelly Stephens, Brenda Stephens, and Samantha Cook; a grandson, Joseph “JJ” Harper Jr.; brother, John Baad; two sisters, Linda Baad and Sharon (Bill) Rose; her former husband, John Stephens; her K9 and Kitty companion, Rocky and Bing; along with her grandcat, Kira Nezumi.
