Clarence William “Clay” Ham Jr., 67, of Sugarcreek passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023.
Born in Pleasanton, TX on May 2, 1956, he was the son of the late Clarence William Sr. and Shirley Ruth (Deckert) Ham. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Ritha Ham.
Clay graduated from Three Rivers High School in Texas. He attended Word of Faith Bible College in Farmers Branch, Texas
On January 2, 1983, he married Joyanne Toth. He and Joyanne ran the Oak Haven B & B in Sugarcreek. He also drove the Amish for many years.
In addition to Joyanne, he leaves behind his step-daughters, Alena Morris of Boerne, Texas, and Anessa Baker of Saginaw, Texas; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; his sister, Clarise Kehowe; and his brother, Dennis (Sophia) Ham.
A funeral service will be held at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory of Dover on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at 12:00 pm with Pastor Jay Rogers officiating. Friends can call one hour prior to the service. The interment will be at Union Hill Cemetery in Sugarcreek.
