Christine M. Heffner

Christine M. Heffner, 70, of Dover passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025 in the Hennis Care Centre at Dover.

Born September 21, 1954 in Canton she was a daughter of the late Wilber "Leon" and Eileen Elliott Holcomb. Chris was also preceded in death by her infant daughter, Jody Heffner; sisters, Cindy Holcomb and Shari Brinkman.

Chris owned and operated her own hair salon in Dover for over 20 years. Known for her great personality, Chris was full of positivity, always greeting others with a smile and a contagious laugh that brighten even the gloomiest of days. She touched the lives of those around her, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Chris had a deep love for animals, especially her cherished dog, Mya, who brought her immense joy and companionship.

She is survived by her children, John Heffner of Tuscarawas, Francesca (Ty) Wilson of Bridgeport; grandchildren, Nicowa and Jersi Heffner; brothers, Dennis (Vicky) Holcomb of Canton, Robert (Sandy) Holcomb of Caldwell; and her best friend, Kay Hambleton and her family.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20th starting at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Pastor Matthew Wald officiating. The family will be greeting friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
