Charlotte K. "Katie" Robinson

Charlotte K. “Katie” Robinson, 63, of Pickerington and formerly of Dover, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 21, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of boundless compassion, and a heart that always put others first.

Born on February 14, 1963, in Canton, Katie was a daughter of the late Paul Sr. and Charlotte Bradshaw Dunn. She was also preceded in death by her beloved aunt, Set Gross.

Katie attended Tusky Valley Schools, and went on to earn her associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in nursing from Kent State University and later completed her master’s degree in nursing at Chamberlain University. She took immense pride in maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA throughout her entire college career. For the majority of her professional life, Katie served as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department at Union Hospital in Dover. She was a natural caregiver whose kindness extended far beyond the hospital walls. At home, Katie’s love shone brightest through the meals she prepared. She enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes for her family and friends, turning ordinary evenings into warm, shared moments around the table. She was the most caring and thoughtful of mothers, always present, always supportive, and endlessly devoted to her children. In her spare time, she found joy in shopping for antiques, and she gave generously of her time as a member of the ADAMHS board, advocating for others in the community.

Katie is survived by her children, Nick Zifer of Dover, Madelyn Robinson of Columbus, and Lauren Robinson of Dover; her brothers, Gerald (Lois) Dunn of Somerdale and Paul Jr. (Anne) Dunn of New Cumberland; and her sisters, Sherry (Paul) McNutt of Carrollton, Laurie Patrick (Ryan Shaw) of Mineral City, and Carrie (Aaron) Brown of Canton; and her companion, Antonio Marino.

Private graveside services will be held in the Dover Burial Park. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory of Dover is honored to handle the arrangements.
