Catherine E. ''Katie'' Polka

Catherine E. “Katie” Polka, 82, of Dover, died Friday, May 17, 2002 in her home after a long illness.

She was a retired employee of the former Flouracarbon Company.

Born October 12, 1919 at Akron, Ohio, she was daughter of the late John and Catherine Gurgovits Zambo.

She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Dover.

Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Polka, who passed away January 29, 1984.

In addition to her parents and husband, Katie was preceded in death by a brother, John.

A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 21, at 10:00am in the St. Jospeh Catholic Church at Dover with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Dover. Friends may call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover on Monday, from 6-9pm. Christian Wake services will be held at 8:30pm.
