Bonnie J. Gwynn, age 88, of Dover, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021, in Dover’s Park Village Health Care Center.
Born September 1, 1933, in Stone Creek, she was a daughter of the late Leo Reinhart and Nola Cronebaugh Reinhart Shurtz. Bonnie graduated from Newcomerstown High School in 1951, and later, on June 14, 1953, married Larry G. Gwynn, who survives. The Gwynns resided in Marion, Galion and Strongsville, Ohio, as well as Lawrenceville, Georgia, before moving to Dover.
Bonnie foremost was a loving wife and mother, she was also employed as an executive secretary for the Marion Power Shovel Company in Marion, and for the Heller Brothers Company in Newcomerstown.
In addition to her husband, Larry, Bonnie is survived by her son, Tom Gwynn, of Little Rock, Arkansas, and her sister-in-law, Betty Reinhart, of Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
Besides her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her step-father, Alvie Shurtz; her sister, Rosalie Reinhart Cugliari; and her brothers, Rolan and Richard Reinhart.
Honoring her wishes, Bonnie will be cremated and her cremated remains buried privately in Newcomerstown’s West Lawn Cemetery.
