Blakely J. Blosser

May 23, 2024 — July 2, 2025

Dover, Ohio

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our precious daughter Blakely James Blosser, who left us far too soon on July 2, 2025. Born on May 23, 2024, Blakely brought immeasurable joy, light and love into our lives from the moment she arrived. With her bright eyes, infectious giggle, deep stare, and fearless, courageous spirit, she touched the hearts of everyone who met her.

Her joyful essence shone brightest when she was playing with her brother. Their bond was pure and filled with laughter, offering moments of joy that will forever reverberate in the hearts of our family.

Our little Peach loved pushing her pink wagon, taking tractor rides with daddy, playing Peek-a-Boo and Pat-a-Cake with mommy, and meowing out the window at Panther the cat. She loved her stroller time, playing “monkey on the bed”, and making mommy smell her feet. Blakely never wanted to miss a moment, so she fought hard to skip her naps and stay awake to party. She took her time learning to eat solid food, but that didn’t stop her from sneaking into Logan’s secret candy stash to grab a Reese egg.

In the midst of our pain, we must remember that God's love is not absent in our suffering. Psalm 34:18 tells us, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit”. He is not distant in our mourning; He is right there, holding each tear, carrying each ache, and whispering His comfort to our souls. Though our hearts break under the weight of such a tender loss, we are reminded in Matthew 19:14 that Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Blakely is now held in the arms of the Savior, embraced by a love that is pure, eternal, and without pain or suffering. While we ache for the presence of Blakely here on earth, we hold onto the hope that death is not the end. Through Jesus Christ, there is life beyond this world—a life where tears are wiped away and all things are made new.

We will hold on to every memory, every picture, and every video forever in our hearts. Blakely is deeply loved by her brother Logan Blosser of Dover, great grandparents Jim (Sara) Urwin of Dalton, Rick (Jeanne) Blosser of Dalton, Doug (Diane) Gray of Louisville; aunts and uncles Lauren (Brian) Mong of Columbus, Deanna (Khurram) Shamsi of Dalton, Danielle (Justin) Hamsher of Canton, Travis (Taylor) Gray of Canton; and cousins Noah, Lena, Caleb and Wyatt.

Private funeral services will be held with Pastor Joseph Perry officiating. We appreciate extended family and friends for their support and love expressed during this difficult time.
