Blair E. Zimmerman

Blair E. Zimmerman, 84, of Bolivar, died Saturday, December 27, 2003 in Union Hospital.

A farmer for 48 years, Blair retired from his trade in 1990.

Born June 13, 1919 at Bolivar, he was the son of the late Albert & Edna Overholt Zimmerman.

Blair enjoyed playing cards and was a member of a Jass club. He was a founding firefighter of the Bolivar Fire Department and had also served as a member of the Tuscarawas County Board of Health.

He is survived by his loving wife, Anna Levengood Zimmerman whom he wed on June 3, 1942.

Also surviving is a sister, Verna Maurer of Bolivar.

In addition to his parents, Blair was preceded in death by a sister Zella Garber.

In keeping with Blair�(TM)s wishes his body will be cremated through the care of the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover. There are no services or calling hours.
