Beverly M. Young

Beverly M. Young, 63, of Somerdale, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Ohio's Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia, surrounded by her family.

Born on August 16, 1962, in Dover, she was the daughter of Shirley Holcomb Ball of Somerdale and the late Floyd Sears. In addition to her father, Beverly was preceded in death by her son, Cole Young, and three sisters: Brenda Sears, Wanda Meryo, and Patty Foster.

Beverly worked for many years at the Timken Company in Canton and was a member of Somerdale Maranatha Church. She found enjoyment in outdoor pursuits, including fishing, kayaking, mushroom hunting, and gardening, and loved making time for her family, particularly her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her mother, Beverly is also survived by her son, Michael (Samantha) Hardy of New Philadelphia; brother, Randy (Lisa) Sears of East Sparta; sister, Tammy (Richard) Seward of Bolivar; grandchildren, Araiya and Eva Hardy, Brooke and Christopher Young; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Cremation has been entrusted to Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory in Dover. A service celebrating Beverly's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the East Sparta Community Center, 9514 Chestnut Ave. SE, East Sparta, Ohio 44626.
