Allen T. Green

Allen T. Green, 80, of Stone Creek, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 28, 2025.

Born December 6, 1944, in Dover, he was the son of the late Ralph and Marie (Vuchkovich) Green and was predeceased by his sister, Vicky Menuez.

He proudly served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1969. Allen retired in 2010 from the Times Reporter after 35+ years of dedicated service. A lover of the outdoors, he took great care and pride in maintaining his property, often seen tending to his lawn, mowing and trimming. He was always ready to offer a helping hand to anyone in need and was a very loyal friend. His deep affection for animals, especially dogs, led Allen and his wife to rescue 30+ dogs. A passionate Tae Kwon Do practitioner for 45+ years, he earned the distinguished rank of 5th-degree black belt.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Janice Burke Green, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. There are no services or calling hours.
