Alice F. Sparks

Alice F. Sparks, 62, of Brewster died Monday, October 8, 2007 in the Mercy Medical Center at Canton.

Born December 9, 1944 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Alice Shonk Grove. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Sparks who died on September 27, 2005 and a sister, Pat Grove Davis.

She was an avid bingo player and loved camping.

A loving mother and grandmother, Alice is survived by her three sons, Eric (Kelly) Sparks of Brewster, Doug (Lorie) Sparks of Sherrodsville, Michael Sparks of Dover; four brothers, Herbert Grove Jr. of Arizona, Carl (Patricia) Grove of Dover, Ted (Linda) Grove of Massillon, Darrell Grove of Navarre; Seven grandchildren, three step grandchildren and five great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 10:30 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Dover. Interment will be in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg.
