Albert M. Crooks

Albert M. Crooks, 78, of New Philadelphia, died Monday, April 27, 2009 in Union Hospital.

He was born at Dover on December 26, 1930, the son of the late Marion & Louisa Owens Crooks.

He was skilled in a variety of areas and was a hard worker, retiring from Ridgid Tools. Albert also served our country with pride. He served overseas in the Army during the Vietnam War.

Surviving family members include: four sons; Wendell, Alvin, Rolando, and Albert, Jr., a daughter, Little Thelma; two sisters, Arlene and Almeda; three brothers, James, Samuel, and Lionel, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, a daughter and sister preceded Albert in death.

A public graveside service will be held Friday, May 8, at 1:00 p.m. in Dover Burial Park.
