A. Lucille Rini, 83, of Dover, died Wednesday, Apr. 25, 2007, in her home following a brief battle with cancer.
Born Mar. 7, 1924, in Magnolia, she was a daughter of the late Karl and Azalia Finefrock Wanner. Lucille graduated from Magnolia High School and went on to work at Hercules Motors in Canton, and later, Sparta Ceramics. At the ceramics company, she met and fell in love with Martin T. Rini and the two were married on Aug. 26, 1950. Following her marriage, Lucille was a homemaker �" a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church, New Philadelphia. Lucille and Martin enjoyed camping and were founding members of the Tusco Traveleers as well as members of the Buckeye Bacon Burners. She also liked to bake and decorate cakes, and was a talented seamstress.
Survivors include two daughters, Margaret (husband, Bruce) Rose of New Philadelphia, and Milli Telford of Canfield; two sons, David Rini of Dover, and Jim (wife, Cheryl) Rini of New Philadelphia; seven grandchildren, Brian, Matthew, and Mallory Rose, Josh, Justin and J.T. Rini, and Jason Telford; two sisters, Irene Linder of North Canton, and Margaret (husband, Paul) Klotz of Malvern; a brother, Carl (wife, Kathy) Wanner of East Sparta; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Martin, on Mar. 2, 2005; a grandson, Bruce Rose Jr., and by a brother, William Wanner.
Lucille�(TM)s life will be celebrated in a service Saturday, Apr. 28, at 11:30 a.m., in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, with Rev. Bill Sowers officiating. Burial will be in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. Following the committal, there will be a reception in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center on the Boulevard in Dover.
