Wilma L. Myers

Wilma L. Myers, 90, of Massillon, and formerly of New Philadelphia, died Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Hanover House in Massillon.

Wilma was a homemaker and had also worked as a home health provider.

Born January 17, 1920 in Bolivar, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Albert and Nora Reed Draime. Wilma was also preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Nathan G. Myers who died in January 1974, a daughter, two brothers and one sister.

Wilma attended the First Assembly of God at New Philadelphia, the Flame of Pentecostal Church at Dover and was a member of the Young at Heart Club.

A wonderful and loving mother and grandmother, Wilma will be sadly missed by her daughter, and caretaker for many years, Shirley (William) Treacle of Massillon; sons, Jimmy Price of Richfield and Richard (Kathleen) Price of South Carolina; sisters, Helen (Gary) Garabrandt of Florida, Rosie Godwin of Navarre and Mary (Hank) Young of Stone Creek; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 7:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Strasburg with Rev Kevin Anslow officiating. Friends can call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-7 pm. Following the service cremation will be handled through the care of the Toland-Herzig Crematory with burial of the ashes to be held at a later date.
