William D. "Bill" Mcmann

William D. “Bill” McMann, 91, of Dover passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 in the Park Village Health Care Center following a period of declining health.

Born on March 7, 1929 in New Philadelphia, Ohio he was the son of the late Eli and Florence Jackson McMann. Bill was also preceded in death by his wife, Clara Limbacher McMann on September 25, 1998.

Bill proudly served his country from 1950 until 1970 with the Army and Air Force, having been involved with the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He was employed at Mercury Stainless in Massillon, and retired after 18 years of service. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and going to the range and shooting trap.

Bill is survived by his daughters, Rhonda Jenkins of Nashport, Debra (Richard) Stutzman of Delaware, Elizabeth (Scott) Bucher of Dover; sisters, Florice Heid of New Philadelphia, Sharon McMann of Navarre; grandchildren, Matthew, Aaron, Keri, Kyle, Sarah, Michael, Julie and 14 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 28th at 2:00 pm in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg with Rev. Brian Flood officiating. Those wishing to express their fondest memories of Bill may do so by visiting the online obituaries link on the funeral home’s website.
