William A. Bidinger

William A. Bidinger, 82, of Dover passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, December 19, 2022.

He was born on December 17, 1940 and was a son of the late George and Olive McVicker Bidinger. William was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty G. Bidinger on June 11, 2021; brother, George Bidinger and sister, Bernice Smitley.

William proudly served his country with the United States Army, where he was a member of the Military Police. He had the entrepreneurial spirit, and was the owner of several different businesses under the umbrella of Bidinger Inc. where he was the President and CEO. In his spare time, he enjoyed collecting stamps, rooting for the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes. William also loved taking care of his yard, something he looked forward to every summer.

He is survived by his children, William (Suzanne) Bidinger of Germany, Kevin (Katherine) Bidinger of Dover, George (fiancé, Charlotte Simmons) Bidinger of Massillon; sister in law, Sandy Bidinger of Michigan; grandchildren, Jonathan, Erik (Ashley), Samantha (Steven), Melissa (Daniel), Dannielle (Patrick), Jessica, David (Donicka), Matthew (Becky), Alizee; great grandchildren, Chandra (Alex), Madison, Damian, Dawson, Tyler, Christian, Jackson, Braxton, Amaya, Addison, and Liam.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 3rd starting at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Fr. Jimmy Hatfield officiating. The family will be greeting friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
