 
            Walter G. Mote, 76, of New Philadelphia, died Wednesday, June 12, 2002 in Union Hospital.
 
 He had retired from the former Warner & Swasey Company after 30 years of service.
 
 Born March 30, 1926 at Millersburg, he was son of the late William & Delpha Derringer Mote.
 
 A veteran of the Navy, Walter was active with the Warner & Swasey Oldtimers club, the New Phila. Elks and had been a member of the First Presbyterian Church in New Phila. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and boating.

 Funeral services will be held Friday, June 14 at 11:00am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover with Dode Overton officiating. Interment will be in the Killbuck Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday (tonight) from 6-8pm.
