Virginia E. Kruithoff

Virginia E. Kruithoff, 65, of Dover died Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Union Hospital.

Born June 25, 1943 in Dorothy, West Virginia she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Millie Mae Bailey Walk. An infant daughter; son, Donald Kruithoff II; sister, Stella Miller; four brothers, Carmel, Samuel, Everett and Bobby Walk; and two nephews, Glen and Paul Walk, also preceded her in death.

Virginia was a loving and giving person who especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren. She was also an animal lover, who took great pleasure feeding the birds and taking care of her dog and two cats.

Virginia is survived by her husband, Donald W. Kruithoff; daughter, Virginia (husband, Michael) Swinderman; son, Shawn Kruithoff both of Dover; sister, Violet Stover of New Philadelphia; three brothers, William Walk, Junior Walk and Dale (wife, Charlotte) Walk all of Dorothy, West Virginia; three grandchildren, Karissa, Kiersten and Steven Swinderman; two nieces, Sue Allen and Ruby Lee and two nephews, Joey and Robby Walk

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at 2:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Dover with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery at Dover. Friends can call in the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
