Tom B. Adams, 99 of Dover died Monday, November 15, 1999 at Park Village Health Care Center following a brief illness.

He retired from the B & O Railroad in 1965 with over 40 years of service.

Born August 11, 1900 in Dover he was a son of the late Clark and Anna Mae Brannan Adams.

He was a member of First Moravian Church in Dover, sang with the choir for 60 years, served on the Board of Trustees and the Renovation Committee.  He was a member of the Dover Elks and was a member and Past President of Dover Kiwanis.  He was also the Supreme President of Alpha Pi Fraternity, Past Worthy Patron of the Tuscarawas Chapter 164 of the Eastern Star in Dover and was a current member of the Oriental Chapter in Strasburg, Past Master of the Dover Masonic Lodge and was an avid sports fan.

Tom is survived by his wife Catharine 'Becky' Seibert Adams with whom he celebrated 52 years of marriage on May 10, 1999.

He is also survived by two nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 18, 1999 at 11:00 am in the First Moravian Church at Dover with Pastor Allen Bergmann officiating.  Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park.  Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover on Wednesday from 6-8 pm with Masonic services starting at 5:45 pm.  Those unable to attend may sign the on-line register book for Tom by visiting the 'on-line obituaries' link on our website at www.tolandherzig.com.
