Terry Lee Abel

Terry Lee Abel, 62, of Florida and formerly of Dover died Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Aultman Hospital following a 5 month battle with kidney cancer.

He retired in 2012 as a welder from Howden Buffalo after 38 years of service.

Born May 3, 1951 in Dover he was a son of the late H. Leroy and Lois J. Lantzer Abel.

Terry loved life and enjoyed being on his boat at Salt Fork or on Lake Erie. He was also an avid bowler and could be seen riding his Harley Heritage Softail.

Terry is survived by his sons, Todd (Staci) Abel of Dover and their three sons, Brian Abel and Stephanie Collum of Florida and their two daughters; long-time companion, Marjorie Slemmer and step daughters, Merry Greco of New Philadelphia and Jessie Slemmer of Canton.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday (today) at 2:00 pm in the Dover Burial Park with Rev.
