Terry E. Barthelmeh

Terry E. Barthelmeh, age 62, of Dover, died Sunday, April 25, 2021.

Born June 16, 1958, in Dover’s Union Hospital, he was the son of the late Edward A. and Katharine E. Huprich Barthelmeh. Terry graduated from from Dover High School in 1977, and was employed by the Greer Steel Company in Dover for 32 years.

Terry was a loving family man who, in his spare time, enjoyed hunting and target shooting, boating, gardening and taking care of the yard around his home.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly K. Locker Barthelmeh, whom he married on December 7, 1985; his daughters, Audra and Melissa “Missy” Barthelmeh, both of Dover; his sisters, Susan Barthelmeh and Cindy (Tom) Harmon, both also of Dover; his nieces and nephews; and his cat, Salem, who followed him everywhere.

Family and friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, on Wednesday, April 28, 12 - 2 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 2, officiated by Pastor John Dunn of Tabor Ridge Community Church. Burial will be in Dover Burial Park. After the committal, there will be a lunch in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center on the Boulevard in Dover.
