Shirley J. Ruegsegger

Shirley J. Ruegsegger, 67, of Strasburg died Monday, January 9, 2012 at Union Hospital.

Born May 30, 1944 in Massillon she was a daughter of the late Ivan and Isabelle Limbacher Mayforth. Shirley was also preceded in death by her husband Paul A. Ruegsegger on November 19, 2005; sister, Linda Dray and brother, Tom Mayforth.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Strasburg. Shirley loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and also enjoyed dining out and watching movies.

She is survived by her children, Paula (Donald) Youngen of Strasburg, Duane Ruegsegger of Strasburg and Scott (Shelly) Ruegsegger of Dover; grandchildren, Ryan, Brianna, Nathan and Joshua Youngen, Kyler, Kade and Kasey Ruegsegger; sisters, Jane (Mick) Blumenauer of Dover and Peggy (Roger) Lewis of Strasburg.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Rev. Bruce McLaughlin officiating. Interment will be in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg. Friends can call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8 pm.
