Ruth M. Garber

Ruth M. Garber, 94, of Strasburg died Wednesday, June 28, 2000 at the Park Village Health Care Center.

Born May 7, 1906 in Strasburg she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Rosa Sprankle Keplinger.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Strasburg where she was involved in many church related activities.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Tracy A. Garber who died on October 19, 1973.

She is survived by four sons: William T. Garber of Ft. Worth, Texas
Jerry W. Garber of Atlanta, Georgia
Charles E. and Shirley Garber of Strasburg
Herbert K. and Patricia Garber of Springfield, Ohio


6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren

She was also preceded in death by a son: Robert Garber

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2000 at 11:00 am in First Lutheran Church at Strasburg with Pastor Fred Grosse officiating. Interment will be at Grandview Union Cemetery in Strasburg. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Strasburg on Friday from 6-8 pm.
