Ruth Ann Wallace, 50, 933 Lakeview Dr., Dover, Ohio has gone to be with the Lord Saturday, September 4, 1999 following a brief illness.

She was an employee of Children's Services for the Ohio Dept. of Human Service of Tuscarawas County where she worked for over eight years.

Born February 2, 1949 in Dennison, Ohio, she was the daughter of Coleman and Jean Moyer Wright of Tuscarawas.

Ruth Ann was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Dover where she was a member of the choir, handbell choir, Sunday Schoolteacher, Past President of the United Methodist Women, and former Youth Director.  She enjoyed gourmet cooking and cake decorating.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband Ed Wallace with whom she celebrated 28 years of marriage June 27.

Her son and daughter in law Tad and Valerie Wallace of Dover and her daughter Sarah Wallace of the home.

Two Brothers and one sister  Richard Wright of Texas  Kathy Wright of Tuscarawas and David (Cindy) Wright of New Philadelphia  and her faithful companion, Shadoe.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday evening, September 8, 1999 at 7 PM in the First United Methodist Church in Dover with Rev. James Scott officiating.  Interment will be in the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens.   Friends can call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.  Friends can also call at the church Wednesday from 6-7 PM.
