Ruth Ann Speyer

Ruth Ann Speyer, 83, of Dover died Wednesday, January 7, 2004 at the Hennis Care Centre following an extended illness.

Born January 26, 1920 in Graysville, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Fred and Ann Hill Harman.

She was a member of Dover Church of Christ.

Ruth was a homemaker and had worked at Curtis-Wright Aircraft in Columbus during WW II. There she met her future husband, Theodore “Ted” Speyer, and on June 22, 2003 they celebrated 57 years of marriage.

She is also survived by a son: John (Daryl) Speyer of New Philadelphia

Daughter: Susan (Tim) Neustifter of Arvada, Colorado

Two brothers: Frederick (Ann) Harmon of Columbus
Robert (Marge) Harmon of Atlanta, Georgia

Four grandchildren: Kirsten and Bethany Speyer
Brent and Jeremy Neustifter

She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter Carrie Neustifter, two sisters and three brothers.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held on Monday, January 12, 2004 at 7:00 pm in the Dover Church of Christ with Randy Chapman officiating.
