Robert Lee ''Bob'' Dreher, Sr.

Robert Lee Dreher, Sr., 68, of Strasburg, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2002 in Union Hospital after a long illness.

Born June 28, 1934 at Dover, he was son of the late Lawrence “Shorty” & Divina Swinderman Dreher.

Bob was a well known area car salesman and had retired from Parkway Nissan Lincoln Mercury in Dover.

He enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, hunting and fishing. He especially loved taking the annual family vacation to Canada. He loved spending time with his family and was a caring husband and father. His favorite pastime was spent talking and spending time with his grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his wife, Jean Dreher, whom he wed on May 7, 1976.

Other survivors include: six children; Robert “Bub” Dreher & Cathie Miles of Dover, Donna & John Zeigler of Dundee, Sherri Boggs of Cocoa Beach, FL, Cindy & Brad Harper of Canton, Doug Mycko & Tina Penn of Alabama, and Patricia “Trish” and Jerry Archer of New Phila., sixteen grandchildren; Zack Zeigler, Amber McBride, Matthew Dreher, Marcus Dreher, Lindsey Lewis, Danielle Zeigler, Tanner Zeigler, Jordan Boggs, Joshua Harper, Robbie Lewis, Ryan Harper, Logan Boggs, Michael Dreher, Sarah Miles, Meredith & Mitchell Archer, two great-grandchildren; Desiree Zeigler & Thorn Dreher, two aunts; Martha Roser & Jenne Swinderman, an uncle, Walter Swinderman and many other relatives and dear friends.

In keeping with Bob�(TM)s wishes, cremation has taken place. A public memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 23, at 2:00pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover with Pastor Fred W. Grosse officiating.
