Robert E. Harmon

Robert E. "Rob" Harmon, age 46, of Dover, died Thursday, March 26, 2015.

Born October 15, 1968, in Middleburg Heights, he was a son of Freida (Lampe) Harmon of New Philadelphia, and the late Richard Harmon. Rob graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1987, and went on to earn an associate's degree from Kent State University. He loved music and playing the guitar, and was self-employed as a guitar instructor. Some of Rob's other interests were freestyle BMX stunt riding and martial arts.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brothers, Rick (Dawna) Harmon of Uhrichsville, and Hal (fiance, Kim Nay) Harmon of Dover; his nephew and niece, Travis and Emily Harmon; and his aunts uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 7, at 7 p.m., in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, with Pastor Shawn Archer officiating. Immediately following the service, there will be light dinner in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center on the Boulevard in Dover.
