Robert "Dale" Hilton

Robert “Dale” Hilton, 65, of New Philadelphia passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.

Born on November 11, 1952 in Dover, he was the son of Francis and the late Estelle (York) Hilton. He was also preceded in death by his niece, Danielle Johns, and brother in-law, Robert Gardner.

Dale was a 1970 graduate of Dover High School. He attended Akron University. He worked at Republic Steel in Massillon , Quest, and for a roofing company in Texas. He was a well known drug and alcohol counselor for over 20 years. He also ran a DUI school in Brewster.

He will be sadly missed by his father, Francis, along with his sister; Evelyn Gardner of Sherrodsville; brother, Steven Betz of Warsaw; nephew, Derek Johns of Wooster; great-niece, Cameron Cantwell of New Philadelphia, his aunts, Carolyn Kinser of New Philadelphia, and Earleen McInerney of Texas.
