Rita A. Schimel

Rita A. Schimel, 79, of the Riverside Manor Nursing Home, formerly of Dover, died Tuesday, September 21, 1999 in Coshocton County Memorial Hospital.

March 8, 1920 in New York City, she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Bridget Condon Chadwick.

She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Dover.

Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford W. Schimel, who passed away May 7, 1991.

Survivors include:
2 sons Richard (Chris) Schimel of New Milford, NJ
Dan (Carolyn) Schimel of Port Washington
Daughter Ann Ribarczek of New Jersey
Sister Gertrude Centrone of Bolivar
Brother Patrick Chadwick of Long Island, NY
3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 2 step granddaughters, 1 step great granddaughter, and 3 step great grandsons

In addition to her parents and husband, Rita was preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held Friday, at 1:00pm in Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover with Msgr. James Hanley officiating.  Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery at Dover.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8pm, with Christian Wake services being held at 7:30pm.
