Rebecca M. German

Rebecca M. German, 60, of Dover died Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Union Hospital.

She was employed as the Office Manager at Tender Touch Home Health in New Philadelphia.

Born July 22, 1948 in Dover she was a daughter of the late James and Ida Keffer Bucher. Her companion, Kevin Rolli, also preceded Rebecca in death.

Rebecca enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and taking care of her flowers. She also collected antiques as well as coins and paper money. Rebecca was most famous for the cars she owned, from the 57 Chevy to her 66 Chevy Impala, everyone knew when she was coming down the road.

Rebecca will be sadly missed by her sons, James German of New Philadelphia, Joe (Erin) German of New Philadelphia and Jesse (Holly) German of Sugarcreek; daughter, Jennifer (Jerry) McMillen of Dover; grandchildren, Kara German, Casey German, Demi, Gabe and Bella Dotto, Patience, Chevelle and Samantha German, Klarissa Haney, Nick, Noah and Ben German, Jacob German and Zach McMillen and former husband, Larry German.

Cremation has taken place through the care of the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Dover. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at 6:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center on the Boulevard with Pastor Robert Sisson officiating. Friends can call at the Monarch Center one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
