Raymond H. Lahm

Raymond H. Lahm, 77 of Dover died Sunday, October 10, 1999 at Aultman Hospital following a brief illness.

He retired from Bank One in Dover in 1987 after 41 years of service.

Born September 28, 1922 in Dover he was a son of the late Peter and Delphia Lantzer Lahm.

He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Dover where he was a   Deacon and served on church council.  He was also a member of the Moose Club, Lions Club, American Legion, VFW and AARP all in Dover.  He was the Past Chairman of the Advisory Board of Salvation Army, attended Canton Actual Business College and was an Army veteran of WW II.

Raymond is survived by his wife Edith M. Mutti Lahm with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage on June 4, 1999.

He is also survived by three daughters:  Judy and Robert Clinton

One son:  Rodney Lahm all of Dover.

Three sisters:  Dorothy Welch of New Philadelphia.
                       Marjorie and Leroy Freed of Dover.
                       Shirley and Russell Kollar of Dover.

Two brothers:  Russell and Midge Lahm of Dover.
                        James and Mary Lou Lahm of Carmichael, CA.

Five grandchildren:  Heather (Clinton) Dotts
                                  Michele Clinton
                                  Sonia Clinton
                                  Fawn Lahm
                                  Stormi Clinton

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 14, 1999 at 11:00 am at St. John's United Church of Christ in Dover with Rev. Steve Daniels officiating.  Interment will be at Evergreen Burial Park in New Philadelphia.  Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover on Wednesday from 5-8 pm.  There will be a reception at St. John's United Church of Christ following the committal service.  Those unable to attend may sign the on-line register book for Raymond by visiting the 'on-line obituaries' link on our website at www.tolandherzig.com.
