Randy D. Shull

Randy D. Shull, 64, of New Philadelphia died Thursday, August 24, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on May 4, 1953 in Dover. Randy was a proud member of the United States Army, where he retired after 21 years of service to his country. Following his retirement, he owned and operated RDS Computers for many years. He loved riding his motorcycle and was a member of the Patriot Guard; he also enjoyed traveling and computers.

Randy is survived by his wife of 45 years, Deborah Shaw Shull, whom he married on April 7, 1972; daughters, Heather Burkhart Hill, Teresa (Brian) Blackwell both of New Philadelphia; sisters, Carol (Jim) Brooks, Marla Fait, Diane Paisley Williams, Sue VanSickle; brother, Darrell Douglas; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Randy, Blake, Griffin and Drake.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Shull and foster parents, John Jensen and Charlotte Jensen Jacobs.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. A celebration of Randy’s life will be held on Monday, August 28 at the funeral home from 5-7 pm.
