Ralph H. Weaver, Jr.

Ralph H. Weaver, Ralph H. Weaver, Jr. age 71 of New Philadelphia, OH was born in to eternity on Sunday March 14, 2010 in Select Specialty Hospital in Canton following an extended illness. A life resident of the Tuscarawas county area he was the son of the late: Ralph H. & Amelia M. (Margo) Weaver Sr.,  a graduate of Dover St. Joseph High School, a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Philadelphia and he retired from the City of New Philadelphia Water Filtration Dept after 37 years of service. Ralph always enjoyed music and playing cards. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife: Charlene A. (Swaldo) Weaver in 1990; brother: Donald Weaver and sister: Dorothy A. Weaver.  He is survived by his son: Ralph H. “Butch” Weaver III, of Uhrichsville, OH; sisters: Martha J. Weaver of Strasburg, OH, Theresa M. (Andrew) Bontrager, of Wilmot, OH; several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian burial will be Friday at 1:00 pm in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dover with Fr. Matthew Hoover as celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, New Philadelphia. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 pm in the Toland Herzig Funeral Home, New Philadelphia Chapel located at 246 E. High Ave. There will be a Parish Wake service at 8:00 pm Thursday in the funeral home. Donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dover. The Wackerly Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
