Penny L. Wallick, 64, of Dover died Monday, October 6, 2008 at her home following a sudden illness.

She, along with her husband, owned and operated Wallick Seamless Spouting Inc., in Dover.

Born May 18, 1944 in Dover she was a daughter of Verda Mills of Strasburg and the late Bob Mills.

She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Strasburg and was a 1962 graduate of Strasburg High School. Penny dedicated her entire life to her family; she loved nothing more than taking care of her husband, children and grandchildren. A selfless person, Penny always put others first. She also enjoyed tending to her flowers and was known for her baking and artistic ability.

Penny will be sadly missed by her husband of 44 years, Garland Wallick, whom she married on April 5, 1964; two daughters, Tammy (Scott) Keating and Jennifer (Mark) Caswell; son, Kevin (Laureen) Wallick all of Dover; sister, Linda (Joe) Concatto of Canton; brother, Robert Mills of Michigan; 11 grandchildren, Bryce, Abbey, Brent and Regan Keating, Evan, Natalie and David Caswell, Samantha, Rhett, Mitchell and Audrey Wallick.

Cremation has taken place through the care of the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Dover. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 11:00 am in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg with Pastor Fred Wallis officiating. Following the interment a luncheon will be held in the social hall of the St. John United Church of Christ in Strasburg.
