Pearl L. Gerber

Pearl L. Gerber, 96, of Dover, Ohio died Tuesday, February 26, 2002 in the New Dawn Health Care Center in Dover.

She was a former cafeteria employee in the Winfield and Dover Schools.

Born April 5, 1905 in Dalton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Anna Lautenschlager Saurer.

Pearl was a member of the St. John�(TM)s United Church of Christ in Dover and the Rebekah Circle. She was also a 50 year member of the Rebekah Lodge. She enjoyed playing cards and belonged to a hobby club. She loved her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel E. Gerber who died December 31, 1976.

She is survived by two sons and one daughter;
S. Dale (Penny) Gerber of Massillon
Dean Gerber and Bonnie (Don) Packer both of Dover along with nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter in law, four brothers, and one sister.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 4, 2002 at 11 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Steven Daniels officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2-5 pm with Reliable Rebekah Lodge Services at 4:45 pm.
