Pauline Zaugg

Pauline Zaugg, 78, of Dover, died Friday, Apr. 14, 2006, in Doctors Hospital, Massillon, following a sudden illness.

Born Oct. 27, 1927, in Dover, Pauline was a daughter of the late Nick and Margaret Swink Engeldinger. She graduated from Dover High School in 1945. On May 27, 1951, Pauline married John Zaugg in what was then St. John�(TM)s E.U.B. Church in Dover. She was a loving, wife, mother and grandmother. Pauline was a terrific homemaker, and a great cook and baker.

In addition to her husband, John, Pauline is survived by a daughter, Leslie Chase of Dover; two grandchildren, Jonathan and Kimberly Chase; two sisters, Marie (Earl) Klingensmith of La Mesa, CA, and Dorothy (Bill) Downing of Hillsboro; a brother, John Engeldinger of New Philadelphia; several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John Charles Zaugg; and a sister and brother-in-law, Arlene and Earl Roth.

Pauline�(TM)s life will be celebrated in a service Tuesday, Apr. 18, at 1:30 p.m., in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover. Pastor Brian Flood of Faith Christian Church in New Philadelphia will officiate. Burial will be in Dover Burial Park.
