Pauline Ruth Gibbs

Pauline R. Gibbs, 86, of Anderson, South Carolina, and formerly of New Philadelphia, died Monday, December 8, 2003 at Providence Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina.

She retired from Sparta Manufacturing in East Sparta after many years of service.

Born March 31, 1917 in Holmesville, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Eldon and Ethel Marie Bailey Schrock.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband Russell A. Gibbs.

She is survived by a daughter: Juanita Syler of Anderson, SC

Step daughter: Judy (Eugene) Mizer of West Lafayette

Two sons: Robert Eiler of Bloomingdale, Ohio
Norman Gibbs of Oklahoma

Step son: Russell L. Gibbs of Bakersville, Ohio

She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Shirley Ann Gordon

Two brothers: Dennis and Waldo Schrock.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 15, 2003 at 11:00 am in the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. There are no calling hours. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at New Philadelphia is handling arrangements.
