Paul J. Bearducci, 57, of Dover, Ohio died Wednesday, April 5, 2000 in his home following a hard fought battle with cancer.
Illness forced his retirement in 1999 where he worked for Republic Engineered Steel Company in Massillon for 23 years.
Born April 28, 1942 in Dover, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Henrietta Reidy Bearducci.
Paul was a member of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at Dover, Dover Moose and Elks Lodges, Dover VFW and numerous bowling leagues at Kinser Lanes. He will be inducted in the Tuscarawas County Bowlers Hall of Fame this year. He was a 1960 graduate of St. Joseph High School at Dover and was a US Air Force Veteran. Paul also enjoyed dancing where he won many competitions for jitter bugging. He was also an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife Patricia S. (Pat) Sattler Bearducci with whom he would have celebrated 22 years of marriage on Aug. 5.
He is also survived by one brother, Tom (Martha) Bearducci of Dover and a sister, Mary Caroline (Bob) Renicker of Barnhill along with numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Bearducci and a nephew, Patrick Bearducci.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, April 8, 2000 at 1 PM in the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Dover with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery at Dover. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover on Friday (today) from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
