Paul E. Aeschliman

Paul E. "Bud" Aeschliman, 90, of Venice, Florida and formerly of Uhrichsville and Dover died peacefully at his home in Florida on September 9, 2016.

Born August 21, 1926, he was the son of the late Herman and Evelyn (Schwab) Aeschliman. He married the former Mary Jane Souers on May 9, 1954 who survives. He is also survived by his brother, Raymond (Doris) Aeschliman of Ravenna and his sister, Dorothy Miles of Uhrichsville. Paul was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Rainsberger, brothers in law, George Rainsberger, David Miles, Robert (Helen) Souers and father and mother in law, Louis and Clara Souers.

Paul proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps as an airplane and engine mechanic. He was an avid golfer and was an active member in the Kiwanis. He was employed by the General Telephone Company and later owned and operated P&J Cable Burial Services and Aeschliman Excavating Companies in Dover.

He was an active member of the former Dover South Moravian Church. He enjoyed gardening and was an avid Ohio State fan.

Rev. John Wallace will officiate graveside services Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016 beginning at 1pm in the Dover Burial Park with a reception to follow in the First Moravian Church at Dover.
