Pastor Tim Tesch

Pastor Timothy Tesch, 49 of Deersville died unexpectedly Sunday, November 23, 2003 in the Harrison Community Hospital at Cadiz.

Tim had been serving as the pastor of the Deersville United Methodist Church since July. Prior to that, he had led the Irish Ridge United Methodist Church and United Methodist Church at Kimbolton.

Born June 27, 1954 at Massillon, he was the son of the late Alfred & Mary Tesch.

Tim�(TM)s heart was for God and His church. He had a wonderful way about him that allowed him to quickly bond with the community he was serving and he had a special gift for reaching children through church programming. He was a talented musician who had mastered the drums years ago and had most recently taken up piano and organ. Tim marveled at nature and loved being outdoors.

He is survived by his loving son, Ben Tesch, a student at The Ohio State University.

Also surviving are: eight brothers; Donald Turner of Massillon, Jerry (Carol) Turner of Canal Fulton, Robert (Diane) Tesch of Sherrodsville, Kenny (Barb) Tesch of Canal Fulton, Edward Tesch of Canal Fulton, William Tesch of Canal Fulton, Danny Tesch of Orrville and Joe Tesch of Canal Fulton.

In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by a brother, Roger who died in January.

A ceremony celebrating Tim�(TM)s life will be held Wednesday, November 26, at 11:00 a.m. in the church where Tim came to Christ �" the Winfield United Methodist Church. A meal in the church social hall will follow the service. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday in Newmans Creek Cemetery at North Lawrence.

Friends may call at the church on Tuesday, from 4-8 p.m.
