Moyne J. Zimmerman

Moyne J. Zimmerman, 85, of 6853 Winfield-Strasburg Rd. N.W., Strasburg, Ohio died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000 in his home following a sudden illness.

He was a retired dairy and grain farmer and was a partner in the former Strasburg Grain, Inc.

Born July 16, 1915 in Akron, Ohio, he was the son of the late Harris and Emma Kutcher Zimmerman.

Moyne was a member of the First Lutheran Church at Strasburg and the Ohio Grain and Feed Assn. He was a former member of the Tuscarawas County Farm Bureau. He was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and enjoyed gardening and loved fixing and repairing things.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lilliemae Layman Zimmerman who died Nov. 27, 1989. He was also preceded by his son, Tim Bowen.

He is survived by his daughter Lisa Zimmerman of the home.
One grandson, Patrick (Connie) Bowen of Dover
Two brothers Kenneth V. Zimmerman of North Canton and Glenn H. Zimmerman of Ragersville and his sister, Delores Miller of Marshallville, Ohio.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Strasburg with Pastor Fred Grosse officiating. Interment will be in the New Buffalo Cemetery in Buffalo, Ohio.
