Mitchel K. Roberts

Mitchel K. Roberts, 57, of Dover died suddenly on Friday, May 11, 2012 at his home.

He was the owner and operator of Mitchel Roberts Roofing in Dover.

Born July 1, 1955 in Ravenna, Ohio he was a son of Raymond and Phyllis McCarry Roberts of Dover.

Mitchel was a hardworking man who had the gift of giving, as well as being a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. When he wasn't at work, he enjoyed spending time with his family, playing pool and fishing.

Mitchel will be sadly missed by his wife of 32 years, Frances A. Falzone Roberts whom he married on September 29, 1979; daughters, Francesca (Adam) Gabel of Massillon, Teresa Roberts of Bolivar and Alexandria Roberts of Dover; brothers, Garrett (Geri) Roberts of Akron and Delvin (Carolyn) Roberts of Canton; sisters, Patricia (William) Alsphaugh of Bolivar and Anita (Curt) Clark of Dover; step grandchild, Annabella Gabel.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Jeff and Samuel Roberts.

A service celebrating Mitchel's life will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 1:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Dwight Mason officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends can call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1-3 and 6-8 pm.
