Minnie A. Johnson

Minnie A. Johnson, 88, of Strasburg and formerly a Dover resident, died Thursday, November 29, 2001 in the Hennis Care Centre at Bolivar.

She retired in 1977 after 29 years of employment with East Sparta Ceramics.

Born April 24, 1913 at Dover, she was daughter of the late Andrew & Della Schilling Weigand.

Minnie was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church at Dover.

Surviving are: two daughters; Rose Marie & Karl Weaver of Canton, and Mary Ann & Paul Dolvin of Zoarville, a son; Ronald & Linda Johnson of Dover, sister-in-law; Marjorie Weigand of Dover, 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Minnie was preceded in death by a son, granddaughter, brother and sister.

A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, December 5, at 2:00pm in St. Joseph Catholic Church at Dover with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Cremation will follow services.

Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover on Wednesday one hour prior to services.
