Maxine L. Snider

Maxine L. Snider, 84, of Bolivar died Sunday, December 24, 2000, in Union Hospital at Dover following an extended illness.

Born June 23, 1916, at Canton, she was a daughter of the late Ross and Erna Saltzgiver Boyd.

She was a member of Leavittsville United Methodist Church and a graduate of Dellroy High School. She was also a member of AARP.

Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Snider, who died November 3, 1980.

She is survived by daughters: Twila and Cecil Brock of Chiefland, Florida
Erna Lou and Martin Goldsmith of Bolivar
Betty Jo Alford of Tallahassee, Florida

Stepson: William Snider of Pennsboro, West Virginia

10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren

She was also preceded in death by two brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2000 at 10:00 am in the Leavittsville United Methodist Church with Rev. Donald Lare officiating. Interment will be in Leavittsville Cemetery. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover on Tuesday from 6-8 pm.
