Mary Y. Trustdorf

Mary Y. Trustdorf, 89, of Dover, Ohio died Monday, January 5, 2004 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness.

She was a former employee of the Ohio Power Company in New Philadelphia.

Born August 3, 1914 in Titusville, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Steve Austrich.

Mary was an active member of the First Moravian Church at Dover where she was involved in the Bible Study group and numerous other activities in the church. She was also a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Dover Mothers Club and was a 1933 graduate of Dover High School. She enjoyed supporting her four sons in their many athletic activities.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Trustdorf who died December 21, 1983. She was also preceded by two sons, R. Steven and Richard F. Trustdorf along with a brother, Dewey.

She is survived by one stepdaughter, Gail (Dwight) Smith of Silver Spring, Maryland and two sons, David of Dover and Allan (Cathy) Trustdorf of Loudon, Tennessee. Four grandchildren Stephanie (John) Wellman of Strasburg, Staci (Quinn) Connor of North Canton, Richard Trustdorf of Loudon, Tennessee, and Mia Trustdorf of Dover. Two great grandchildren Alex Bowman and Steven John Wellman.

Funeral services celebrating Mary�(TM)s life will be held Friday, January 9, 2004 at 11 am in the First Moravian Church at Dover with Rev. Allen Bergmann officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover on Thursday from 5-8 pm and Friday from 10-11 am at the church.
