Mary V. Brown

Mary V. Brown, 87, of Dover and formerly of Vincennes, Indiana died Saturday, June 30, 2007 at the Hennis Care Centre.

Mary was an RN at St. Mary�(TM)s Hospital in East St. Louis, Illinois and had also owned and operated the Rallway Furniture Store in Vincennes.

Born December 26, 1919 in Dayton, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Frank and Clementine Scheefers Rall. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Francis and William Rall.

She was a member of the Old Cathedral in Vincennes and was active in the Altar Society. Mary was also an Army veteran, having served as an RN during WW II.

Mary is survived by her husband Paul L. Brown with whom she celebrated 56 years of marriage on April 21, 2007. She is also survived by a daughter, Therese (Rick) Rinehart of Dover; son, Thomas Brown of Dover and two granddaughters, Erin Gorsich and Kotie Rinehart both of Dover.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 1:30 pm in the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Dover with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery at Dover. Friends can call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Dover on Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:15 pm.
